Deepika Mhatre: You must have heard this name, but her story is even more inspiring than her profession as a standup comedian. Miss Deepika worked many jobs to earn a living, including selling imitation jewelry on local trains to working as a domestic helper in five houses. She had a boring life, but she decided to knock it off with humor. But one of her employers hosted a TV show on which she made everyone laugh. From that day onwards, she never turned back.
Sonam Wangchuk: His story is so inspiring that we had to include it on our list. He is the engineer from Leh who opened a school for children who society thought were failures. He aims to teach kids in a fun and practical way rather than just cramming it all up.
